and uh uh uh you a oh i no uh uh in the a a a um oh i'd like to show you the new as to you know and thirty two f. four cortex x. aim for discovery board that's available now from nasty s. t. as you can see i don box box the s. t. n. thirty two f. four board from its package i and i have have it uh uh available right here it comes with the micro oh installed stalled on it as well as an onboard board as stealing link it also has to push buttons one that's a reset set and one that user configurable as well as the u. s. b. e. on the go at some micro a. b. connector and a class d. speaker or driver eight leds e. d.s and a host of other peripherals so let's take a look at what happens when we put it yeah uh when i connect connect act it uh you will get a new hardware warning that is felt by the um uh by windows does and what you do is is you allow the windows update too update the uh stealing link link driver or it this will install the correct driver or afore for you so that you can now download code uh on the back of the packaging it was a website site that you can go to a nasties is we uh um one s. as t. d.'s website site and this has some of the sample code that you can use to run this discovery board i put put this is on i it this website site up on the screen behind hind me so that you can see what the website site looks like when you go to the the landing landing page that is directed by this particular site i this is what you'll see if you go to the design support tab and then in you scroll all the way to the bottom a you'll see a link for some firmware where and this firmware where is what contains you'd you'd sample packages for the sport i downloaded this already ready to my computer so let's get started and see what happens when i open up the discovery demo board i floated at the s. q. thirty thirty to have for for discovery them into to my bed it workbench bench they're still still have of simply lead place the different leds leds that are available on on the board but it's very simple to download it in d. bug but it's already ready set up to actually uh use use the s. c. link this on board this particular board so i can just simply press downloaded debug are will will program the flash memory and then we'll be ready to start out out then you'll notice that that over on the left hand side we have our workspace space one though in the centre we we have or maybe be dot c. we're we're are a breakpoint what it at the first statement men main made because we've already gone through all the starter uh code and on the right hand side we can see the disassembly is went when down and we can quickly switch back and forth between whether or words uh single stepping to at the source level where the disassembly level by clicking in the either one of these one does you'll notice that the green arrow moves and now the green arrow indicates whether we're single stepping as source for disassembly level but we can just simply allow while this code to run run and and if we collect go uh you can see that the board is is running and that the leds e. d. are all flashing so this makes a very simple way to demonstrate what's going on with the board i can press break and i i can see exactly where i i an am inside my code right now currently inside side of it i mean delay lay i can deliver looters single single step a or i can actually use a break points i either the code log or data to breakpoints points to see what's happening inside side the code so as you can see it's a a very quick and easy way to get up and running with the court x. m. four that is available from s. t. microelectronics all of our kids or that's c. easy d. c. to use and we hope that you find that it helps your development environment and that it it helps you to uh get get up and running with your application as quickly as possible hmmm uh and uh uh in our uh um in a um a
